VISIT JACKSON HOLE: “STAY WILD” ARTWORK
The Stay Wild campaign is a prominent part of the tourism and responsible-travel initiative—dubbed Visit Jackson Hole—which launched in 2017 by the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board in partnership with the advertising agency Colle McVoy. The campaign spans television, print, and digital advertising, complemented by a variety of in-person activations and community-based promotions.
Project
Colle McVoy commissioned us to create the artwork for its first piece of “sustainable swag”: a free canvas tote bag distributed at Jackson Hole Airport and throughout town. The project aligned with local initiatives to reduce waste, including Teton County’s plastic bag reduction efforts, connecting the Stay Wild campaign with a broader commitment to sustainability.
Another cross-promotional element of the Stay Wild campaign was a hand-drawn Otso Cycles fat bike. Otso shipped us an unfinished frame, which Tim transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece of ridable art with Sharpie paint markers gesso. The pics below show the finished bike after Otso applied multiple layers of clear coat, wet-sanding between each coat to achieve a perfectly smooth finish. The fully assembled bike appeared across several marketing touchpoints before ultimately being sold at auction.
